Faith, Fun & Football: Healing Heartz Attends Harvest Fall Festival!
A Celebration of Faith, Family, Community, and Giving Back
At Healing Heartz for Hurting People Inc., we believe that making a difference begins with showing up, spreading love, and creating meaningful experiences for our community.
This Halloween season, our organization was excited to participate in a community Trunk-or-Treat celebration, bringing together faith, football, fun, and fellowship!
Our football-themed display, God's Game Plan, reminded everyone that no matter what life throws our way, we can continue moving forward through faith, hope, and prayer.
God's Game Plan: Believe, Pray, and Have Hope!
Our Trunk-or-Treat setup featured a creative football theme complete with referee jerseys, football balloons, green, black, and gold decorations, and a special message of encouragement.
Our display highlighted three powerful reminders:
- BELIEVE in yourself and God's purpose for your life.
- PRAY EVERY DAY and trust God's guidance.
- HAVE HOPE because every day presents another opportunity to grow and succeed.
We wanted our display to be more than just a decorated vehicle. We wanted it to represent the importance of faith, teamwork, encouragement, and community unity.
Sweet Treats, Smiles, and Community Connections
What's Halloween without candy and treats?
Our table was filled with colorful buckets of candy, delicious snacks, special gift bags, and giveaways for the community to enjoy.
But beyond the sweet treats, our greatest joy came from the opportunity to connect with families, engage with young people, and share information about the programs and services offered through Healing Heartz for Hurting People Inc.
We also had the opportunity to introduce families to our Daughterz of Destiny Leadership & Empowerment Academy an initiative designed to encourage, mentor, and empower young girls to become confident, compassionate, and successful future leaders.
Through conversations, program information, and community engagement, we continued spreading awareness about our mission of restoring hope and rebuilding lives.
More Than Candy—It's About Community!
At Healing Heartz, we recognize that community outreach does not always have to take place through large programs or formal events.
Sometimes, the greatest impact happens through a simple conversation, a welcoming smile, a small gift, or an opportunity to let someone know that they matter.
Our participation in this Halloween Trunk-or-Treat celebration allowed us to connect with families in a fun, safe, and welcoming atmosphere while continuing to promote positive values and meaningful relationships.
Every child deserves to feel celebrated. Every family deserves to feel supported. And every community deserves organizations that genuinely care.

Healing Heartz for Hurting People Inc. is dedicated to empowering children, youth, adults, seniors, and families through mentorship, educational opportunities, community outreach, and meaningful support.
Events like Trunk-or-Treat remind us why our mission matters. They provide opportunities to build relationships, inspire hope, and strengthen the communities we serve.
