Pink Out for Christ: Rooted in Faith, Dressed in Pink

What a beautiful and meaningful day of faith, awareness, encouragement, and community!
Healing Heartz for Hurting People, Inc. was blessed to host our First Annual Pink Out for Christ Breast Cancer Awareness Event at Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Pompano. The sanctuary was filled with beautiful shades of pink as survivors, families, supporters, church members, and community friends came together for one purpose: to bring awareness to breast cancer while celebrating strength, honoring those we have lost, and reminding those still fighting that they are not alone.

💕 My Pink Has Purpose
Throughout the program, one message remained at the heart of the day: “My Pink Has Purpose.”
Pink represented more than a color. It represented faith, courage, survival, remembrance, love, and hope.

Our guests were encouraged through powerful words, heartfelt moments, fellowship, and faith. We celebrated survivors and recognized the strength of individuals and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
As a faith-based organization, we believe awareness should also be accompanied by encouragement. There are moments when a diagnosis can bring fear and uncertainty, but our message was one of hope: God is still present in the journey.
🙏🏽 Faith + Community + Awareness
Seeing the sanctuary filled with people dressed in pink was truly special. From the speakers and program participants to everyone working behind the scenes with the sound, video, decorations, food, and hospitality, each person helped make the event possible.

Following the program, guests gathered in Mathis Hall for food, fellowship, conversation, and community. Those moments were just as important because Healing Heartz is about bringing people together and creating spaces where people feel supported, encouraged, and loved.

🎀 More Than an Event
Pink Out for Christ was not simply another program on our calendar. It represented the mission of Healing Heartz for Hurting People, Inc. — restoring hope and rebuilding one heart at a time.
We want every survivor to know:
We see you.
We celebrate you.
We honor your strength.
We stand with you.
We also pause to honor the memory of those who fought courageously but are no longer with us. Their stories, strength, and legacies will never be forgotten.
💗 Thank You
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Pompano, our speakers, participants, volunteers, supporters, community partners, survivors, families, and every person who attended.

Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes—from the sanctuary to the fellowship hall and from the microphones to the cameras—to make sure this vision came together.
And most importantly, we give God all the glory.
Our first Pink Out for Christ showed us what can happen when faith and community come together for a purpose. We look forward to continuing this work, increasing breast cancer awareness, supporting families, and creating meaningful opportunities to serve our community.
We were rooted in faith.
We were dressed in pink.
And our pink had PURPOSE. 💗🎀
